Villa in Marrakech 2

This project originates from the reuse of an old adobe brick farmhouse. The taller portion of the farmhouse now serves as a monumental entrance vestibule. The old exterior walls, due to their massive construction, provide excellent thermal comfort, maintaining a pleasant interior temperature regardless of the season.

The layout is designed so that all rooms are connected to interior patios or exterior terraces, fostering a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. The traditional massing of the structure pays homage to the region's architectural heritage, while modern elements like the heated floor offer luxurious comfort.

On the south side of the house, shade structures protect large windows that offer breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. Social spaces revolve around a monumental stone fireplace, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for gatherings. The terraced floor plan adds an element of interest and provides varied viewpoints throughout the property.
